The ERIC office team is growing!

Andrea Garcia Juan holds a master degree in Physical Oceanography and Environmental Sciences from Paul Sabatier University (Toulouse) and Toulon University. She also holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Oviedo (Spain). She has experience in oceanographic data management (CTD profiles, ADCP, computer programming…) and a strong background in physical oceanography. She first worked as an intern in Ixblue and then in Open Ocean, where she also gained initial experience in ocean waves modelling.

Andrea has been hired to assist the Euro-Argo ERIC office team in at sea monitoring of Argo fleet, in the frame of the MOCCA project. She will seek the relationship between floats behavior and environmental and technical parameters in order to best manage Argo fleet.
