Marginal Seas DMQC workshop
The two-day workshop was organised by Argo-Poland, Argo-Germany and Argo-Finland, working together in the European Research Infrastructure Consortium Euro-Argo ERIC. It was hosted by Argo-Poland, at the Institute of Oceanology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Sopot, Poland and gathered about 30 participants, half of them remotely.
The first day focussed on general issues of oceanographic measurements using autonomous Argo floats in the shelf and marginal seas. Available oceanographic data that can be used for Delayed Mode Quality Check (DMQC) were reviewed, with particular emphasis on the Baltic Sea.
On the second day of the workshop, methods of working with Argo data, including guide for DMQC procedures were presented, including practical exercises.
Presentations made during the workshop can be downloaded HERE.
Some of the participants also gathered for a second session hosted by IMR in October 2023.
