1st Euro-Argo RISE float deployed in the Black Sea

The first float funded under the Euro-Argo RISE H2020 EU project was deployed in the Black Sea thanks to a collaboration between Romania (GeoEcoMar), Bulgaria (IO-BAS) & Italy (OGS).

The float (WMO 6903271) will participate in the enhancement of Argo measurements in shallow water areas of the European marginal Seas, as part of the work planned in Euro-Argo RISE (WP6: extension to marginal seas).
